Finger Fracture

A finger fracture, or broken finger, is when one of your finger or thumb bones breaks.

  • Bruising
  • Redness
  • Deformity
  • Swelling
  • Pain
  • Stiffness
  • Difficulty bending the finger
  • Pain when bending the finger
  • Finger feels stiff
  • Getting hit in the finger by a ball or other object
  • Falling on the finger
  • Does your finger look deformed or is it pointing in the wrong direction?
  • Is your finger swollen?
  • Is your finger a different color than usual?
