By accessing or using this website (Recovr) and any related tools, features. content, or services, you agree yo these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1) Educational Use Only (No Medical Advice)
The Site provides educational information about sports and musculoskeletal injuries and may include tools that help users organize symptoms or view likely injury topics. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information is not a substitute for professional medical care.
If you think you may have an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.
2) No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Using the Site does not create a doctor–patient relationship or any other professional relationship between you and us. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional for diagnosis and treatment.
3) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Site.
4) Accounts (When Enabled)
When Recovr offers personal accounts, the user agrees to:
Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5) User Content
If you submit content (e.g., testimonials, comments, recovery stories, suggestions, uploads) (“User Content”), you represent that:
You own it or have permission to submit it.
It does not violate laws or anyone’s rights.
It is not misleading, harmful, or harassing.
License to us: By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/clarity), publish, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Site.
Removal: We may remove User Content at any time for any reason, including if we believe it violates these Terms.
No guarantee: We are not responsible for User Content posted by others.
6) Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Use the Recovr for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
Interfere with Recovr operation (e.g., hacking, scraping, malware).
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
Post or share content that is threatening, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
Use Recovr to provide medical services or impersonate a clinician.
7) Intellectual Property
All Recovr content (text, design, layout, logos, graphics, code, and compilation) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and use Recovr for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without our written permission, except where allowed by law.
8) Third-Party Links and Resources
Recovr may link to third-party websites or resources. We do not control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for it. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
9) Content Sources Attribution
We may summarize or paraphrase information from reputable medical and educational sources. We aim to be accurate, but we do not guarantee that content is complete, current, or error-free. Our content is not written by healthcare professionals, but instead a group of dedicated pre-health students. If you find error in content, please contact us.
10) No Warranties
Recovr and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Recivr will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any results from using the symptom tools will be accurate or reliable.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our affiliates, volunteers, contributors, and partners) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of Recovr.
In no event will our total liability for any claim exceed $100 or the amount you paid us (if any) for using the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
12) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, volunteers, contributors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of Recovr, your violation of these Terms, or your User Content.
13) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time if we believe you violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Site or others.
14) Changes to Recovr or Terms
We may modify or discontinue Recovr or our services at any time. We may also update these Terms. The “Effective date” will change when updates are made. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17) Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there
